So good!!!!! The start was rough with the backwoods language and the sorrow, but man this is a wonderful story! It’s giving Little House on the Prairie but grown up. Love!

It’s okay so far. Not loving it. The thick accent makes reading take longer than usual. Also, there doesn’t seem to be much depth to the characters so far. The only real personality Marty has is that she is a widow and has little homemaking experience. Hopefully it gets more interesting as the book goes on!
