Overall, I enjoyed the book, but I didn't find the ending realistic. Her father wasn't genuine and apologetic enough. Plus, I felt that he was just making excuses for himself. And Whitley was laying it on too thick about how this was her true home and shit, I felt like it came out of nowhere.
