Max is on his villain monologue, he was tasked from Verax to make the rich guests uncomfortable and used vibrations to induce paranoia and dread so no one would want to board their competitors’ ship but it when they changed the alloy in the machine they didn't realize the effects would be extreme, the Aurora was never supposed to be found once the damage was done

Ofc they find Kane alive. Hes holed up in a room filled with mattresses, he says Nysus diverted engine power to inc noice dampeners to decrease sound of the threat, he’s talking to two ppl over his shoulder presumably Nysus and Lourdes saying she didn’t abandon them

head security officer Diaz locks them inside, Claire Kane and asshole Reed, Claire remembers not seeing body bags which she thought strange

3 weeks to the Aurora, she sees Kane and Lourdes asking if she’s ok so she tries to stop running from her memories and actually try to piece them together, notes her mom only appears when she’s in danger or panicked

They board Aurora and find the dead bodies of Nysus, Lourdes and Voller

The security team are already seeing and hearing voices too

There’s too many rich ppl on that ship to abandon it

They play a mayday from Kane that the Aurora was being attacked, so she agrees to go cuz he’s still alive

Despite being a top secret mission they’re swarmed by reporters

She sneakily stops taking her meds

Her security team is heavily armed and she tells max its a bad idea since if they go crazy they’ll start shooting, she also sees like their dead comrades

Now: that’s the last thing she remembers that feels real, she assumes they’re all dead cuz she wouldn’t get in an escape pod without them

Investigators Reed and Max say they’re going to send a ship there to retrieve remains and Claire as their guide w Verax private security

She can see a man behind one of them and taunts them knowing they know this ghost

Voller takes the drill and tries to open the door going crazy from voices, wants to let the ppl knocking in

Claire hears her mom

Voller hits her w the drill then takes it to his head and kills himself

Claire comes to briefly and sees two Lourdes’ one looking at her one dead

Despite them being sealed in the bridge

Lourdes is missing

Nysus studies the energy outputs and notices right before the end of their journey something took 10% of the engines power

Captain log has her saying suicides, violence and hallucinations have been happening and she sees her wife who’s back home

They watch the last video the vlogger Opal had, her producers catch her mom slap her, opal pulls a knife, the atrium has someone hanging themself

They decide to stay in the rooms of the passengers

Claire wakes up to the sounds of her late mothers wheezing and under the bed the woman they found before w a blindfold but when she looks again she’s gone

Woman found w blindfold and ear plugs hiding under her bed

Nav Systems are down and no autopilot, need to pull from their ship rendering their backup escape plan useless

They work thru all the kinks and start their journey on the Aurora

Somewhere Claire kissed Kane (must’ve missed that) and she says he can’t avoid her she needs his support and he says he was jsut giving her space MOVE ON W THE STORY

Kane being a dr is super worried about Claire and this being a huge trigger for her

They find a rich influencer who was blogging the voyage hanged by her room key chain, someone stabbed her post mortem, she clawed at her own eyes

Another room has a couple who took sleeping pills and tied themselves to their bed, he’s a trillionaire
