Fascinating, but in terms of the biological chapter I’m currently in regarding hormones, it’s incredibly frustrating in its handling of gender. No surprises, it’s exceptionally male centric, using examples from all aspects of male life, whilst reducing female aggression strictly to maternal defence or menstrual cycles. Of course the book, treats male behaviour as the default human baseline.
