Okay I’m breaking for the night. I like where this is going but I feel a bit stressed about Brynn continuing to keep this a secret. The blow up will be bigger the more she keeps the secret but that’s how these things go.

I wonder if they are trying to keep Tripp away from everyone because they’re scared that he will accidentally say something that gives them up.

Well that interaction isn’t confusing at all. Why would someone hate Mr. Larkin when everyone said that he got along w everyone?

I wonder why Shane would be wanting to meet people in that exact spot? Multiple witnesses to him “discovering the body” and picking up the murder weapon and that’s why his fingerprints were on everything?

Ooo interesting! You don’t pay that kind of money without needing to cover something up. Probably why the kids weren’t bothered too much and barely interviewed.

Love Carly!! She’s my favorite side character so far and I appreciate her willingness to stand up for Brynn. Ramon sucks but it makes sense that he’s cutthroat because he’s focusing on them getting tons of views from tons of people.

Murderer? I wonder why someone would think Tripp did it when it’s obviously Charlotte and Shane got something to do w it if anything. Or none of them have anything to do with it but their story looked suspicious and they decided to lie to make sure that none of them got blamed for something they didn’t do.

Interesting that they don’t talk about that day in the woods. I wonder why Shane doesn’t like Charlotte anymore.

Okay I’m starting this book again thanks to a student reading it and wanting me to read it w her. I have read it before and I love Karen McManus so let’s see if it’s any better the 2nd time around. Note: I read this over 2 years ago and don’t remember anything so this should be fun!
