Interview With The Vampire: 4 ⭐️
i think that this was such a solid start to a series. the format being an interview is so much fun and such an interesting way to view a story. you know from the get go that no matter what the story is unreliable as it is a retelling from a very dramatic narrator. Louis's struggle with aesthetic vs moral reasoning behind choices is sooo good. Anne Rice's writing is just poetry.

i will say that the immortal children and the weird embraces that Louis had with the immortal children was weird asf.
