The Third book is a bit harder. It focuses more on Lancelot than in Arthur. Describes his struggle with Guenenvere and being unfaithful to Arthur in contradiction to both his friendship and principles. Arthur seems ok with the arrangement though and the book points to this being Arthur merely accepting the affair as an inevitable fact. Been enjoying it so far. The start is a bit slow , with the first portion being King Arthur's childhood and Merlin's early tutelage, that can feel a bit dull , as it reads more as a fairy tale , far cry from modern fantasy than Song of Ice and Fire or Witcher. The second part is getting a lot more interesting , discussions between Arthur and Merlyn about the nature of war , and the morality of government
