I hate to say this, but this very early Herron is rather bland and boring. The main character (not Zoe) is that sort of oatmeal middle class woman who can be a real cow at times but mostly is flat beige wallpaper. The only real sparkle comes with the government spooks running a special op...but they haven't appeared too much yet.

Really enjoying the spooks, though! Axel and Amos and the Man With No Name who Howard works for. But those are quite Slough House, aren't they? Total nutjobs on the loose.
Right now, it's sitting at an average 2.5 stars. Hopefully, when the camera is off Sarah, I'll start enjoying it more.
