This book won't be read at my regular pace. I'm taking notes and color-coding them with highlighters. The notes are mainly to keep track of characters and to see if I can guess the dinosaur. Also, to research some subjects at a later date.

The third attack was gruesome. At the age I was in 1993, I wouldn't have been able to get in the theater if the movie followed the book word for word.

Before buying the ebook, I verified that it wasn't identical to the movie. I saw it in theater the summer it came out, and i have rewatched it many times since. The fact that some of the characters are supposed to be kind of the opposite of what was shown on screen was what made me decide to try it. It's my first book from Michael Crichton
