Louise Edwards’s Reviews > The Little Wartime Library > Status Update

This book makes you stop and think about how people coped with life during the war, and how books brought comfort.
The library was a place where people came together, bringing a bit of reality despite the war.

What I took away from the story was how important kindness, friendship and having something to hold on to can be when life is difficult. It was emotional in parts, but also uplifting.
