Yeah I get it’s confusing. From memory she comes through a portal or something from a different world. I think that’s from the author’s previous series. I didn’t read that one and she does refer to it quite I bit so it’s unclear for awhile but if i remember correctly it’s eventually all clarified.
YES! Someone has just told me this 🫣 which I find quite annoying as I do like to have ALL the facts when I go into a story, coz I need to know things 😂 the start definitely feels like I’ve been dropped into the middle of the book but I do enjoy a vampire so I shall push on. Have you done book 3? Is the series as a whole worth it? x
