3. I don't feel there really is a plot and the events themselves don't really seem credible. I mean, Roark is supposed to get away with all he does?? 4. It has a love triangle. And you all know how much I despise those. 5. I can't seem to connect to the writing style. I don't see the lack of grammar and mistakes mentioned in many reviews in this version, but still.

Ok, enough venting for now, back to the story. xD

I'm not impressed so far. Why? 1. The supposedly 1950s setting is almost non-existent except for a few mentions of a date/important event. 2. Odessa comes over as super-childish and she is supposed to be 17-18... She cries all the time and her feelings for Nicholas are cheesy, not really credible and it almost feels like a ten-year-old having her first crush on a senior quarterback. ..

Cheesy romance and I don't see much of a plot yet... Definitely not for me so far.
