What clinched it for me is the passage about how she thinks he’s hot because he has HER FATHER’s eyes????
They constantly inconvenience each other & then think “well s/he’s hot so it’s okay” & then flirt for 2 seconds & then go “but… we can’t… because… um… I hate you”
Setting your book in a hockey team doesn’t absolve you of needing interesting plot & characters
