Slow-paced, full of world-building, being fed with little pieces of juicy meat throughout the pages on what I know will be the big reveal of the true antagonist. Simon feels like a true teenage boy, a bit annoying but endearing, Bibanik is wonderful to read, and Geloë’s introduction is very welcomed as a powerful female wizard-type character.
