I don’t love the jokey first person narration (it kind of feels like off brand Andy Weir and I didn’t love it when Weir did it either). But I LOVE the ideas and the world building. From what I’ve read, it sounds like this style of narrative isn’t typical for Adrian Tchaikovsky, so I’m still excited to finish this one and try another by him.
