“That’s the bedrock of all the trouble on the earth…we are a nation and a part of the world that spends its time on seeming. Our whole outer crust is seeming. When we get beneath the surface and strike the being, then we live as we are privileged by the Almighty. I don’t think I give a tinker of what seems. What concerns me is how it is.”

“The Almighty does not evolve all his wonders in animal, bird and flower form. He keeps some to work out in the heart. If only humanity would go to his school and allow him to have dominion.”

“Anywhere the bluebells ring it is Sunday in the woods.”
