Good read overall. The story goes back and forth from one time period to another.
Modern day characters are scuba diving in an area of Italy known as the Amalfi curse (similar to the Bermuda Triangle ). These divers are hunting treasures from the boats that sank there in the 1800s.
This was a good book however I personally enjoyed The Lost Apothecary, also by Sarah Penner more than this book.
