Ugh. I gotta be honest, I'm not enjoying this at all. It's nothing but daughters "learning to empathize" with their narcissistic, hypercritical, uncompassionate mothers because "oh but it's a different culture!" Who fucking cares? Grow some empathy or fuck the fuck off. You don't get to emotionally abuse your daughters (and it's ALWAYS the daughters) because you're traumatized. Get therapy. Culture isn't an excuse.
