Im basically disassociating at this point. I read two pages with my eyes and then realized i was spaced out and my brain didnt absorb any of it. Usually that means im bored with a book, but no, not so far into this one as I already am. I mean i love how riveting this story is but it’s kinda traumatizing me and I think i need breaks but im trying to power through. Idk how much more they will pile on. SOS.

Oh lord not the miscarriage….. Yall im gonna have to sit with a pan of cinnamon rolls after this book.

I’m getting annoyed cause Joan can’t seem to decide if Vic is a good guy or not. She’s described him as “kind” one minute and then “lascivious” the next. Then again, now that I think about it, I’m probably annoyed because most times I can’t decide if someone is good or bad either. Because it’s almost never black and white.
