The dialogue of this book is a little tough for me, given that many of the characters speak in a Scottish accent and it is written that way. I've never been good at skimming, so I'm painstakingly reading each sentence, trying to not only figure out what it says, but do it with a proper Scottish accent. Is this a me problem? Absolutely. But it still makes for a tougher read than expected 😅
