The Lookout - Another one I have to look up the meaning of - still good though.

Rambla Triste - Also , a very good story to re-read :) You understand the hopelessness of all the citizens when you find out they can’t leave

The Well - Pretty good - Still find it crazy they gave her their craziness though wtf - What you get for being youngest child.

Rambla Triste - This is my favourite yet. So moody and spooky and just so good. I love that throughout the whole thing she is obsessed with the smell and then it’s revealed later. Any sort of mention of kids being exploited truly makes my spine shiver and this story did exactly that.

The Cart - Whilst i’m quite confused about what was in the cart and what exactly happened at the end, i did enjoy

Angelita Unearthed - Woah , i’m amazed at what can be said in 11 pages. The image of a 3 month old walking; bits of her decaying corpse falling off is one that sticks with you. Incredible opener to a compilation of short stories

Our Lady of The Quarry - What stuck with me was how the younger girls spoke of Sylvia; crazy how patriarchal ideals shine through in jealous thoughts. Great creation of setting/mood.
