I find both leads, but especially Tessa suddenly insufferable. I can’t say she was my favourite heroine to begin with… but wow does she become unfair and wholly unlikable in this book. Grief does strange things to a person but her reactions are so immature, overblown and even cruel, I just can’t stand it. I writhe under her incessant “I hate him” remarks and extensive descriptions of her poorly placed rage.
