I am sorry to be that person but this book is average at best. I was also tricked by the artwork

At the moment the thought of diving into book 2 at nearly 1000 pages just fills me with dread. I keep hoping it will turn around

Well one thing alex aster is best in is her marketing through artwork. Seriously the artwork is so elite but imo her stories and writing does not match the artwork lol. I gave starside 3 star and tbh probably wont read next book. Tbh worst part his mmc was hot in artwprk and ai videos but in book he is nothing but a cardboard personality
