I'm curious about this one!

I think if you like Joe Abercrombie you’ll like this. It’s set in a kind of Crusades Christian like era filled with Vampires. The sun has not fully risen in over 20 years and of course all the chaos that ensues. Great characterization, family and friendship drama and intrigue. Definitely R rated for sex and violence, but I feel it’s well used for the story. Also told kind of in a reverse “Interview with Vampire” style. Our main character is a prisoner telling his story. I’m almost a quarter in on the last book, excited for the finale.

Definitely adding to the list -- thanks Chris
