A little too much description, imo. It was ok at first, but now they’re traveling, so there’s too much detail for these new places for my taste.

I am on an Arthirian kick lately. This is the book behind the Pendragon Cycle show that The Daily Wire did. I watched it on Amazon Prime, and it was quite good! (Definitely for older teens & adults, though.)

I read one of this author's books once and thought his writing was frustratingly slow-paced for a greater portion of the story, perhaps owing to the many included details.

I started this book and never got around to finishing it. It IS insanely dense and it wasn't holding my attention very well, so I feel you. I LOVE the show however. It was very well done and is probably my favorite fantasy show/movie after Lord of the Rings. I definitely recommend watching it if the book isn't for you. It skips the boring parts and only covers the important parts of Taliesin's story... The parts pertaining to Merlin, specifically.
BNC—yes, quite slow! So far, anyway.
BG—I did watch the show, and loved it. It’s why I wanted to try this book. It does chop out a lot, which could be why I found the first few episodes to be quite “choppy.”
Ohhh okay!! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!! I watched it when it first came out so I haven't found many pendragon fans until recently 😂❤ haha, i do agree the first few episodes were choppy. It took me a little bit to get hooked, but once it hit episode three it just got even better. Merlin and Pelleas are fantastic. They all did such a good job
I, also, got hooked around episode 3. That’s when I started telling people about it.😌 It was so well done!
