I always love Mimi's author's notes expounding on the inspirations for her stories 🤩

What's this Spell, book, and scandal excerpt?!
Is Mimi turning her hand to period romantic fantasy....be still my 🖤
🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

All that remained was to get through the next two days without getting themselves killed.

"Unpleasantness doesn't disappear merely because we don't acknowledge it. On the contrary, I find that it has a way of rearing its head at the most inconvenient times."

Auspicious considering where they're going and who's possibly there 😬

Failing that, there's an attorney I know in Fleet Street who's something of a miracle worker.

YES please to this cross-over, that character is legitimately the whole reason I fell down the Mimi Mathews interconnected series rabbit hole after picking up the Equestriennes 🫠

Except I think they could easily trade places, pair of chameleons that they are...they're gonna be a formidable power couple however this shakes out 🙃

Oooh fun...a marriage of convenience 😈

Another library loan autoreturning in 4days...better get my skates on 😶‍🌫️
