I thought I had left a note as I read earlier in the book…earlier in the year, but I don’t see it now. My note would have said this style is so similar to Lincoln in the Bardo that it doesn’t work well.

But I picked this up again after many months and Saunders’ signature humor, seriousness, skill has enveloped me once again , and made me ill with the knowledge of a world in crisis.
