Başak Falay Schweiger’s Reviews > The Sympathizer > Status Update

I am really pushing this…. It's a dense, intellectually layered novel, full of political contradictions, satire, questions of identity and moral ambiguity. Maybe not the best choice while having an aim of 100 books at the end of the year.

This book is so literary and linguistically complex, including many metaphors and sarcasm, taking abit too long to progress.
