Sasha seeks pity ENDLESSLY

and then says that to pity the woman washing dishes in the tiny “coffin” room would accomplish nothing.

All in the same episode! Wild 1-2 punch of ugly sad maladaptive outlook

Sasha is so brutally hard on herself 🥴 she imagines herself as a complete failure and narrates every new and old experience according to that idea. She is capable of kindness and empathy towards strangers but not herself. Question is: what is the source of her shame? Social expectations, alienation, economics, gender norms etc ?
