The Iliad was a bit of a slog to get through because every single death in this war has to be named and given a backstory. Achilles entering the fray was great, and the gods being mischievous throughout was fun. At the end, there's a whole "book" dedicated to chariot-racing, and earlier, a god decorates armor in scenes that would be impossible to show on actual armor. I would've liked this better listening to it.
