Another book with and absolutely gorgeous cover and fun ideas let down by wildly uneven execution. And baffling choices, although this time it's word usage rather than basically everything under the sun. If I hadn't spent my youth reading every fantasy novel I could get my hands on, I would probably enjoy this quite a bit. As it is, however, I think I'm going to just admit to myself that this one isn't for me.
