They’re making quiche like this is a rom com. No offense but I just don’t like it

I just don’t feel like the stakes are anything. Someone finds out about the wolves? Oooo. Is there a cure? I don’t care.

The stakes are zero. Just a romance, with some paranormal stuff in the background. Challenge: over. Relationship: together. No struggle. No problem.

Something was holding me to this at the beginning, like what’s going on with Jack and an underlying plot but now it’s just… a high school romance that I don’t feel connected to ? Maybe because of how quick they became familiar.

The writing started good but the comfort/witty banter between Sam and Grace right away just isn’t for me. It’s not terrible cause the writing isn’t terrible.

Dislike the witty banter confidence. But still interesting story
