Stephen King is such a great storyteller.. even if the book ultimately ends up uninspired with a bad ending or weak plot, you usually have a great time getting there. I care about the big bad already.

This man is extremely disturbed. Idk if he's more disturbed than Brady, but it's up there. I am not able to relate to what being cyclically orally & anally raped during a prison sentence, or having a mother who instructs you to kill your younger brother while also raping you does to a man's psyche, but they have to be pretty high up there on the scale.
