Very weird choice to save the interesting characterizations for the final chapters. The shattered timeline does not do this book any favors - a resequence could have gotten me invested earlier.

I recall not liking Station 11 very much (loved the show) and maybe this author is just not for me. Simplistic prose and undercooked characters, world-building that relies on leaps of imagination in the reader (there is a domed city here whose main qualities are that it is domed, and thousands of old buildings were demolished to build it... No more detail?). Hoping it finishes strong but not getting my hopes up.
