Chapter 4, which I just finished, is about background knowledge. I knew it was important. It would be great if all the teachers at my school read this book.

The introduction and half the first chapter. Thought-provoking. I'm very interested in getting to the chapters where research is "translated" into teacher planning / classroom activities!
