I really thought Fitz was gonna get caught up with another group of strangers this chapter but there were a lot of insights into how the Wit works. Didn’t think for even one second that other Witted ones could sense or understand other Witted folk.

Also, Will knows Fitz is still alive😳

Fitz shouldn’t have stopped in this small town

Jesus Christ, it’s about time Fitz can skill properly. I suppose it only took his entire life falling apart for him to have enough time to adequately learn.

That chapter was quite the emotional rollercoaster.

At first, I was a little nervous (and frankly, slightly annoyed) that the dialogue was so short and elementary (to portray the inner monologue of an animal), but the author did a great job of transitioning back to how Fitz spoke in the previous 2 books as the chapter went on. Interesting start to the book!
