Unfortunately I decided to DNF, while I do like dark romance this author does it in a way that I’m not comfortable with. She sets the FMC as this headstrong woman, but puts her through unnecessary abuse and psychological trauma. The plot also looses me sometimes of where one minute the MMC is choking the lady out and the next they’re happy. I’ve noticed this trend across her books, and I’m just not a fan.
