I really don't know wether I like this book. On the one hand, there are beautiful images, queer tension and I am really curious where this is going. On the other hand, is this going anywhere? The pacing is slow, sooo slow. It's hard to keep reading.
Side note: I appreciated the CN list online. I really didn't see this sort of abuse coming in the novel.

Had a flashback: Me circling the Autumn Reads-aisle, full of orange covers, some a little gothic, cozy bookshop/bakery/witchy kitchen motifs, and far too obvious couples kissing on the front.
But this book? Found it hidden away in the LGBTQ+ section. So far, it’s so cozy, autumny, slightly unsettling. It makes me so angry that its not advertised at the front of the store just because it's about a sapphic romance.
