the fact that the female lead ONLY listens to premade Spotify playlists irks me deeply (re: pisses me off). that's such an awful & strange hill for the author to die on... and she has no appreciation for music at all! and would rather "listen to what other people thought was fitting for the [insert blank experience here] moment".... my dad always tells me not to be so judgmental about music, but i can't - sue me!
