I’m a huge fan of Roan Parrish’s early work, but her newer books aren’t doing it for me. Not sure why… Possibly because she’s now being trad published and so is writing more mainstream books? Whatever the reason, the plot of Unusual Haunting is next to nonexistent and, while Jamie and Edgar are a cute couple, they basically never talk about ghosts, which is a weird choice for a book supposedly about ghosts.
