This book is like a telenovella… I’m very engaged but I do need a manjar plot conflict to begin.. Something interesting is the narrator completely is omnipresent until a few phrases where they say “I” or explain how they know their stories. Very excited to find out who the narrator is.

Love the political and historical side of this book coming out- I’m going to deep dive into Chilean history after this.

I cannot believe this was adapted into a show. There’s so many characters and it spans like 50 years… I like this book and I think of it often but it’s a marathon not a sprint haha!
