I would not survive long in battle man. Poor Veradis I empathize, I am not crafty enough to sabotage others. and I would get so hurt if someone betrayed me, like where's your honor?!

Veradis's blind trust in Nathair and Calidus pisses me off! he's so stupid sometimes and so easy to manipulate. UGH like brother you know in your heart and gut that what they do is wrong!

Lykos is despicable. I hate his character povs

Maquin might be one of my favorite characters in this series. His storyline was filled with so much pain and he lived for vengeance, but at his core he is such an honorable man. I am so upset over him and Fidele. This is where I learned that John Gwynne hates to give every couple a happy ending, bc their ending is HORRIBLE
