I'm curious to know if a random reader - having never played the Myst Games - would like this book?
For myself, I'm enjoying the word-building and character development that is contributes to the Myst story-line. And the writing is actually pretty good. There have been several moments where I was impressed.
Makes me want to revisit the games some more.

Been meaning to read these books for years. It's fun to finally dig into the first one. I'm such a geek for this game series. 🤓
