Beowulf’s finally stopping boasting and is ready to fight Grendel. It’s interesting how much Tolkien uses terms from this in the Lotr.

Very much enjoying the lyrical prose. Can definitely see where Tolkien got his language for LOTR from. Beowulfs intro so far has been great!

Jumped straight into the deep end with this one, very lyrical prose which lends to it being an orally told story. Very much enjoying Beowulf’s intro!
