Uh oh, the first murder has occurred! This archaeological "dig" is doomed from the start, as heavily funded but haphazardly and shakily based as it is. What happens when money, arrogance and religious zeal collide? Dead folks, that's what.

The tension is ratcheting up! It's a bit of a trope for an expedition to be looking for the Arc of the Covenant -- not so sure it would be the huge sensation this book markets it as, esp not after the Indiana Jones movies. Perhaps it's a cover and they're really after something else?

Going to try one in Spanish for the Long Books Challenge.
I have two months to finish and because this is a thriller with short chapters, I might just finish. Level of language seems to be okay, maybe a half step above me, so that's also good. Give me a little bit of a stretch!
