Eye twitching. The dialogue really is a bit clunky...

I didn't expect her to be meeting the love interest so early into the story even jys in passing. I honestly felt that we were setting up for some time skip montage, letting Mari get settled into the roll, then some time in the future having the skept stumble onto her doorstep.

I also thought this was set in modern day for some reason before picking it up lol

Lmao I need to stop peaking at reviews before finishing books but nice to see I'm not the only one kind of rubbed the wrong way about the 'we can't have people fall in love with us' thing.

Like I understand what they're going for but girl be so for real. It's not that big of a deal.

So do the honey witches act sort of like healers within the community? I know they're supposed to help balance out nature alongside the ash witches. I wonder what niche an ash witch fills out then, or if they're also a healer type.

Listen I'm just saying this would be my personal aromantic dream scenario. Like this story has been cute so far but I worry a bit on if I'm going to get annoyed at this narrative lol (a personal gripe not necessarily an issue with the story itself)
