I’m starting to fall in love with these characters. The way that their worlds are slowly merging is something nice to see — a slow burn but I don’t mind it at all. I really like how the author is taking the time to make her characters feel real and flawed and relatable. She is really fleshing them out and I hope that her choices pay off in the end.

Chapter sixteen. Loving this story so far, can’t wait to see where it takes me :) I’ll keep in touch.

Five chapters in and Tanya Guerrero has done a beautiful job of setting the stage for us. So far I have met 4 out of 5 of our main characters: Núria, Bong, Collin, Omar and Cat (I have yet to meet Lilly). I can already see how their worlds are meshed together and I can’t wait to see where this story takes me. And of course, it takes place in the greatest city in the world: NYC <3. My home.
