Gave it another chapter and then gave up on it. I tried, but it just went overboard on the description and fact dumping. For instance, the description of Billy Slade spanned an entire page and then the rest of the chapter was merlin explaining to Billy his entire history from his birth to his imprisonment in the tree (as if any good arthurian hasn't heard it enough times by now).
