Not gonna lie, I'm having trouble getting through this one, due to Wonky Writing: the first chapter alone is front-loaded with way too much back story/exposition for my liking, when I'd much rather see it unfold organically. I feel like it's trying too hard to explain things, when I'd rather see them evoked.
