Rereading cuz Klara was pmo and I needed some lowbrow humor. Audiobook is pretty well-voiced for the characters (who are all assholes) and much more emotive than Klara's audiobook

It promised to be funny and horrific at the same time, and it delivered. I wouldn't say it's too good at being either, but it's the best book I've read that's both. Not that I've read any others.
Sometimes the humor's a little crude. I think the author's consciously adding that in, which I appreciate more than boob jokes for the sake of boob jokes. But I smile at a few jokes.
